Monday... but...
it is... STUNNING!
Sadly, I'm cooped up and can do nothing about it. BUT... at 3:30 this afternoon, my Colnago awaits me! And then a little guitar will be a nice follow up!
I took my little wife on a two hour hike at a nearby park yesterday... it was gorgeous... after my having ridden for about an hour in the morning. What a GREAT day!
I didn't get to play guitar, though, because I worked up the nerve to change the strings on my La Patrie classical. It wasn't TOO difficult, but the strings are still settling.
Working on "Blue Eyes Blue" from the sheet I bought. Those chords are VERY pretty, although I've had to replace a couple shapes. This MAY, I am coming to realize, have something to do with a slight nerve entrapment in my left elbow that has cause a bit of loss of strength in my left pinky. Oh, well... I'll work around it if that's the case. More finger exercises on the guitar will tell in time. This is a HARD song to learn, but I'm convinced that this is a good tactic for me to use to learn and gain confidence.
It's good to see the new folks here... Mouse Cannon, Bethany... even some others who have posted less. I'm trying, guys!
Wish Jen had more time. Miss her here.
Oh, well... at least I know she is well and busily occupied...
