Yes I know. And there needs to be more places that will spay and neuter feral cats for free. Even at ten dollars a cat it costs a small fortune to get a colony of cats fixed. If you get one female that isnt fixed then you start having tons of kittens. In the last three months we have had twelve kittens come to our colony. And unfortunately there are nine females. My friend and I have paid for over twenty cats to be fixed. We just cant afford to do it any more. It is hard enough to keep them fed. I wish I could find a place that would help out with this kind of thing. Some towns around here have people that do trap and release. That is where they trap feral cats, fix them, give them their shots and then release them back into there colony. But you cant just take all the cats over to another town and hope they trap them. It just doesnt work that way.
Any way I agree that rescue cats need to find homes more then any other. And for some reason they seem to have better personalities.
