On a side note, my beloved and I just watched "Hotel Rwanda". You wanna talk about war? How about the fact that hundreds of thousands of people were slaughtered in a matter of MONTHS, and yet there was barely a blip on the media radar? Why is that? Was it because Rwanda as a country has nothing to offer? Or was it because the people being murdered/hacked up with machetes (sp?) were black? Why didn't the media freak out over this? Why didn't other governments try to intervene more? Why did nobody care?

In a way, the fact that very few people cared enough to try to do anything about it is more telling than anything else.
