When all this first happened it was not a fun thing to deal with for me. Everyone freaked out after the hurricane hit and rumors spread that since a line broke or something that we would be without gas for quite awhile. So everyone panicked and started gorging as much as they could. Lines were miles long, making you wait an hour just to get some gas. They took down prices because they were constantly going up. Some even paid $6 a gallon! Stations started running out and had to close down. It was unbelievable. But a few days later things were back to normal. Prices for me range anywhere from $3 to $3.70. Most gas stations have full supplies but some of the tinier places still don't have premium or even regular. It's insane what people will do just because of a rumor.
