gouge....definition please TC...can't find it in my little dictionary

deep breath again and risking speaking against the tide of opinion *gulp*
i think petrol prices in the USA are rediculously low, the size of the gas-guzzling cars is rediculously huge and the emissions coming out of the country are of obscene proportions.....maybe higher fuel prices will get people to think about using smaller more fuel efficient cars (as they should be doing in this country too...rather than using 4x4s to do the effin school run>: )...and also if the american people get stressed about the fuel prices then maybe that would be an incentive for Bush to look at alternative fuel resources (cos obviously global warming isn't a serious enough reason )

petrol over here is about 98p a litre ($1.80 or 1.44 euros)

i do agree that it is well annoying that the first hint of an oil price rise and petrol goes up up up but when the price of oil drops we dont hear about it >:

i think that natural resources will overtake religeon as the main cause (excuse) for war in the future :(
